Day 9 Challenge: Imagine you are on a long holiday in Portugal (or wherever your dream destination is). There are castles to explore, secret bars to discover, and sunny beaches to laze around on. In today’s post, I want you to write about how you will balance your adventure and work while you are away on this holiday.

My dream destination is Osaka, Japan.

My version of work-life balance is:

Growth first – early in the morning, I’d like to read some book or some sort to fill me up. Do some stretching and meditation to keep me energized, and plan out my day (top 3 priorities). I will repeat this routine at night also.

Work second – around morning, after breakfast, I’ll start on my #1 priority of the day; all the way until I finish all my top 3 priorities. If I just don’t feel the energy to finish any one of them, I will skip to the next section, and come back to it that day to finish it.

Experience third – later during the day around afternoon, when I am drowsy, I can take a walk outside to see the beautiful sceneries, meet different people, and discover Japan’s culture. Most of the time, I don’t bother about what to eat, as long as it’s nutritious and fills what my body needs, so I won’t spend that much time preparing food. But if there are local dishes that I’d like to try, then I will make an effort to go there and enjoy.
